Most people don’t come to therapy because something is “wrong” with them. They come because something isn’t working anymore. Maybe you feel stuck in a relationship pattern, anxious in social settings, burned out, or just not like yourself.
If you’re curious about yourself, tired of handling everything alone, or wanting things to feel different, therapy can help. You don’t need a crisis to begin.

My style is warm, direct, collaborative, and honest.
I draw from evidence-based approaches, like CBT, REBT, and ACT. But more importantly, I pay attention to you. We’ll look at patterns, emotions, relationships, and the stories you’ve been carrying. I’ll embrace you where you’re at and help you build a stronger relationship with yourself.

The first session is a conversation. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve tried before, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. We’ll review how we might work together and discuss if we’re a good fit.

It depends! Some clients work with me for a focused period around a specific issue. Others stay longer to do deeper, ongoing work.
We’ll check in periodically about your goals and whether therapy is feeling helpful. My goal is to help you feel healthier in the most beneficial timeframe for you.

Like many specialized providers in NYC, I choose to operate out of network. This allows me to provide highly individualized, confidential care without the restrictions that insurance companies place on treatment.
Working out of network allows me to:
Prioritize your specific goals and needs rather than insurance criteria
Protect your privacy and confidentiality, by not sharing detailed clinical information with third parties
Offer flexibility in how and when we meet based on what will genuinely support your growth
I offer concierge billing to help make using your out-of-network benefits easy. Click here to submit your insurance verification form.

While I offer a high level of care within a boutique solo practice, I want to ensure therapy remains accessible. I hold limited sliding scale spots where I provide the same level of care at a reduced rate. Please contact me to discuss this option.
